VEC-5100HCI series cards are the most cost-effective H.264 hardware compression cards that support realtime CIF recording. This series card can provide full channels CIF/QCIF with 25/30fps and dual-stream encoding; it also can support 4CIF(D1)/2CIF with non-real time encoding or some channels D1 realtime encoding.

Main functions
- Each video channel can be compressed independently in 25F/S (PAL) or 30F/S (NTSC). Both variable bit-rate and variable frame rate are supported
- Each audio channel can be compressed independently, using an OggVorbis audio standard. The output bit-rate is 16 kbps
- Support 4CIF/CIF/QCIF real-time preview for up to 64 cameras.
- Supports following recording resolution:
NTSC: 704×480(4CIF/D1), 704×240(2CIF), 352×480(HD1), 352×240(CIF), 176×120(QCIF)
PAL: 704×576(4CIF/D1), 704×288(2CIF), 352×576(HD1), 352×288(CIF), 176×144(QCIF) - Supports dual stream mode, ensure high-definition local recording and fluent network access performance.
